Caliber's Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) launched in 2022. TAP is one of Caliber's most important initiatives and the collision repair industry's largest and most extensive investment in workforce development. In 2025, Caliber partnered with workforce insights leader Lightcast to develop a report on the impact of TAP in Texas from 2022 to 2024.
I created this post for Caliber's Shop Talk Blog as part of both the massive B2B and B2B campaigns surrounding the findings from Lightcast's report and Caliber's partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission. In addition to sharing the most impressive results, this post contextualizes and humanizes the program by sharing the stories of some of the many lives TAP has touched.
